Do these match the coyote brown color required for the new AF uniform?

Currently serving airman. Ok so I just got them, haven't worn them to work yet. They are the correct color for ocp wear, but they are shorter than my old boots even though they say 8 inches, I haven't measured but they are noticably shorter. However the reg does not specify height so I am going to wear them and see what they say but I read the afi several times. Zipper is authorized. My old sage boots had side zip. The reg states that side zip is authorized, I think zippers are even authorized for some of the boots on the safe-to-fly list as well. My only legitimate concern would be the height (which may be because I wear size 5 boots, so they may shorten it on smaller sizes and yours may be fine) and then the Reebok on the back seems a bit more pronounced than I anticipated so I wonder if that will be considered excessive. It's very dark colored and goes across the entire heel area. As prior army I will add that I believe these would not meet at 670-1, the height alone is an issue for mine since they're definitely not 8 inches and the reg states 8 to 10 inches. But I know the text on the back would almost certainly be considered excessive. It would be fine if it were closer to the same color as the rest of the boot but it's very noticeable.

Can I cancel this order because they are composit toe

It says composite toe in the description.

Are these waterproof?

Yes. But I always spray one or two coats of waterproof for shoes anyway for added protection as I work outside 90% of the time.

It will say Steel Toe in the description. This one says Composite toe.

Good for desert and workshop

I like more ankle protective, rigid, tough, anti slip and oil resistance. What i dont like it is heavy and made of cloth not leather.

Incorrect size received

Order 10.5 W and received 10 W. Great boots but wrong size delivered. Unfortunately not enough time allowed for me to return them. 😔

I have been wearing these type of boots since 2006! (Back when they were made by Converse). Given that timeframe you could say that I simply love them. Comfortable, breathable (I work in some very hot places - temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius!) They simply do the job!

Las adquirí para sustituir las incómodas botas de seguridad con casquillo de acero. Se sienten como tenis, y se amoldan muy bien al pie, además de ofrecer soporte al tobillo. El cierre lateral ayuda al momento de quitar y poner sin necesidad de deshacer el lado de las agujetas. Eso si, vienen grandes, pot lo que recomiendo comprarlas 1/2 talla abajo como mínimo
