KOTTO 5 Pack Set 0.4 inch thick activated carbon filter for Solder Smoke Absorber, Refills

Appears to be a perfect match for the original filter that came with my Kotto Fume Extractor, as expected.

I made my own unit with a strong fan. I used these filters and they do a great job. Not sure how long they'll last but the first filter is still eating solder smoke after hours of use. I'm building a tube amp for guitar and without a smoke eater the place gets very smokey and stinky quite quickly. This thing makes a huge difference

This works well for filtering flux smoke. I noticed a big difference. I bolted the filter to an old computer fan and trimmed to fit. Works great!

I bought the filters to install on a fan unit I built myself. The filters seem to work well. Perhaps the filter material could be a bit more dense but this is not a big issue.

Bought the 5 filters and stuck them on an old computer fan hooked up to a 12v DC power brick as my fume extractor. Carbon filters apparently aren't as effective as HEPA filters for soldering, which I don't doubt since you can see through these in spots. I still received what I expected so 5 stars; carbon is better than nothing until my HEPA filter arrives. I can always double them up or use them for my 3D printer exhaust to remove smells.
