ST. MORIZAdvanced Pro Formula Velvet Finish Self Tanning Gel, 175ml, Dark

I have used L'oreal Sublime Fresh feel gel for years, as I find its the best, however can't get it for love nor money. I tried this as I prefer a gel rather than a lotion. I applied it as though I was using the Loreal sublime ( I use my fingers and apply after a shower before bed. It rubbed in well, but don't use too much. Its thicker than the Loreal. The next morning, I had no streaks but although its a good colour, it does not look as natural and there is a smell but its not unpleasant. I will see how I get on with it, but its not bad for the price. If I cant get the Loreal I will probably buy this again.

I’m relatively pale (I ever so slightly tan in summer but not much) and generally have only ever been brave enough to use gradual tanners as I thought a non-gradual one would just be a dark orange disaster. However I was really impressed with the St Moriz gradual tan mousse’s colour and smell, and after reading reviews about this one being really natural I decided to try it. I put it on with a mitt before bed, and found it easy to apply and quick to absorb so I could get dressed soon after applying. The smell was very subtle. There is no orangey guide colour which I usually find annoying as it always seems to appear patchy, despite the finished result being fine after washing it off. In the morning the tan had developed to a lovely even colour, only slightly more noticeable than the gradual ones I usually use, and which was exactly what I wanted. The only thing I would say is that it did settle on my knuckles.. but unforunately I always seem to find this with any tan and is probably more likely to do with application rather than product. No really lingering biscuit smell the next day either! And skin looks glowing and moisturised. Will be my tan of choice for the foreseeable future!

As a regular fake tan user I really can’t tell you how bad this tan is. At first I was hopeful as the texture was really nice like a serum and smell wasn’t too bad. I exfoliated before etc then the results were just so awful. My skin was so dried out by this tan and I don’t know how anyone could have good results with this it was so streaky and crusty looking! Really bad avoid. I’ve only given it 2 stars because the serum feel was so good but shame results are so poor. I’d say you get what you pay for but other cheaper tans are so much better

Went on gloopy , this has got to be one of the worst fake tans I have ever used and I’ve used a few ! It was patchy, streaky , left some parts with colour , other parts with too much colour. The colour is an orange not a brown. Will go back to using my Palmers fake tan. I had totally body scrubbed before so I cannot see how this happened. The smell is indescribable, a bit clinical but still fake tan. Definitely not luxurious in any way , use Palmers or St Tropez def best two !Never use this again it’s gone in the bin !

This really is one of the best tans I’ve used! It doesn’t feel sticky on the skin, just really natural like you’re not wearing lots of product. I love that there’s no dirty looking guide colour either... It gives a lovely natural, yet deep tan. The fragrance is very slight, almost unnoticeable.It’s definitely not a tan for beginners though with it being a clear, natural feeling gel. Great for experienced tanners who know what they’re doing and exfoliate regularly etc. Highly recommend for those who are looking for a ‘clean feeling’ tan!
