Gave these a shot, sort of expecting to be disappointed. Nope. Solid build. Rigged up a pressure test and easily cranked down 220mm of pressure with the windlass, without much effort at all. The windlass is solid plastic and does not flex, the Velcro strap is beefy, and the buckle is solid plastic. I’m happy for sure. No doubt I could stem the flow of a deep laceration or puncture with this tourniquet.Update: Compared these to a brand name CAT and found little difference. The windlass on the the CAT had a bit more girth, but the windlass on these doesn’t flex at all. A wash. The straps and buckles nearly identical. The owner of the CAT is ordering a few of these as well.

Easy to used and I used it for emergencies. To me, it can be a good addition to my first aid box. I kept one out to practice with and teach my wife and grandkids how to use it. The rest went into the car and truck for that "just in case" time. It's one of those objects you have and hope you never have to use.

I bought the four pack and staged them in my car, my camping first aid kit, and my edc first aid kit with an auxiliary one. They are a high quality product. IMO, you should be able to get a four pack for $20. Something so important to your trauma kit shouldn’t be desided by price.

Thankfully I have not had to use this tourniquet in an actual medical emergency, but its design and construction are the same as those I have been trained to use. As far as I can tell it is the same design and materials as would be found in any standard EMS kit. I am confident that it will function properly should the need arise, although I hope I never have to use it! I like that they are in individual plastic bags for storage without the risk of any debris getting into the hook and loop strips.

Really never know until you have to use the product , but nice value and good materials. My purchase is intended for a firearm accident, so hopefully I will never need them!

Don't trust your life or someone else's to these. Windless is soft plastic that bends easily. Good likelyhood of stitching failing when it's needed most. The only practical use is training. Just because they look like NAR CAT tourniquets does not mean they perform the same.

They work well. I tested them. Seem like solid material and easy to use. Pull them out and familiarize yourself with how the strap goes and keep a sharpie around for the tag T time and date
