AS a DJ, you always try to protect your equipment. This case is perfect for storing your external hard drives! I have 2 Solid State HD's and they are not likely to get damaged in this case.

Awesome Pelican 2010 Case for G-Technology 1TB Portable HD
I have owned many Pelican cases for my camera and grip equipment. This is the perfect case for my portable G-Technology 1TB Hard Drive to help protect my important projects. I purchased the Pelican 1020 case. It fits nice and snug, almost too tight so I would recommend putting a ribbon before you insert your hard drive in. This will help you lift the HB back out of the case when ready for use. The extra space from the cove allow room for the USB & Apple USB - lighting adapter.

Beware of dimensions
The item is rugged and well built, however beware of inner dimensions. Pelican site states inner dimensions are: 5.3" × 3.6" × 1.7", which is a lie. Actual inner dimension with the locking insert in place are 5" x 3.25" x 1.5"And no, you can not use it without the insert as it stops being watertight.
