bought for me and my flat mates after a few drinks, picked the minions one as it was cheaper and we get so much use out of this game! everyone loves uno and knows how to play because it’s lovely and simple but great fun. the cards are durable and we got it on a great price

We have played classic 'UNO®' for years, and this version adds an (optional) extra dimension, with an ICON in the bottom left hand corner of each card (more detail below, from the box). The more players there are the more, the fun the game is and when you play your next to last card you have to shout ‘UNO’ (something I am very good at forgetting)! Of course, there is a bit of nonchalant adding up practice, too, if you keep picking up the ‘+2’ or ‘+4’ cards, together! We use a card tray to keep our packs in, as the box is not a practical size to return them to & keep the instructions safe in, IMO. NOTE: I believe that there is a small error in the UK instructions in the scoring section: the ‘WILD’ entry/50 points should read ‘SKIP’. It plays like classic UNO®, except every card has an ITEM icon in the corner (Mushroom, Banana Peel, Green Shell, Lightning, or Bomb). The ITEMS don't do anything during normal play. But when the wild Item Box Card is played, the player flips over the top card of the Draw Pile and immediately uses the ITEM on that card! Each ITEM has a different action. This pack makes a great gift for players 7 years and older, especially Mario Kart fans. A multi-lingual INSTRUCTION LEAFLET is also included and looks a bit daunting at first glance, if new to ‘UNO®’, but the game is easy to get into the swing of once you know what all the ACTION CARDS do.
