Chill Passion Jug/ Growler Filler for Perlick Faucets (600 Series 630, 650)

This works perfectly with my 630. It does fit a little tight, but that's a good thing since it needs to say in there with beer coming out. No leaks at all.Quick note: the ID of the hose is 5/16". The OCD amongst us would wonder how this is going to affect the balance of the keg lines. Frankly, I didn't have much of an issue. FWIW my beer is kept at 36-38 degrees at 12 psi, and this line is fairly short...so I relaxed, didn't worry, and had a homebrew.I was looking at it wondering how hard it would be to replace the tubing, but then I remembered the price point and realized it's probably easier to buy a new one if/when this gets funky.In sum, I like this product - makes it a LOT easier to send beer home with those who like it.

This growler filler seemed to be well designed and the one I received fit my Perlick 650 faucet perfectly - snug but not too snug. Unfortunately, when I went to clean it before use with my small "drinking straw" bottle brush, I couldn't get the brush through the bore of the metal piece. Closer inspection revealed a large burr/blockage of some sort in the metal bore, which covered about 1/3 of the opening. I might have been able to ream it out with a drill bit, but felt it was better to just return it, rather than risk creating a rough surface where excess foam could be generated. Amazon's return system is great, and I already have the defective unit heading back and a new one on order. I am sure the defect was just a fluke, and I am looking forward to trying the new filler out.

I absolutely love this product and it worked perfectly straight out of the box and still works the same to this day. It's a no muss no fuss solution to bottling off of your keg without the messiness of picnic tap or faucet tap bottling. No leaks, minimal foaming....just make sure to turn down your keg pressure before you get started. This is a well designed product and I believe that the 2 O-ring fitting is crucial for the tight fit that I'm having since I read other reviews for other products where they only had 1 O-ring and there were leaking issues. I have a mix of 650 and 630 faucets on my keezer and this works perfectly. Snug, not tight on clean taps and you can fill a growler without having to hold it on. Quick tip... keep it clean and keep it in the cooler if you can, Chill your growlers for a while before filling greatly reduced foaming. If all bits are the same temp the beer foams much less.

Fit my 600 series perlick perfectly with no leaks. I also like that the hose isn’t crazy long like some of these can be. Long enough to fill growlers no problem but you’re not dealing with 6” or more of extra hose.

It's a growler filler. I use it to put homebrew into growlers for parties/beach/etc. It works as intended.

I really wish I would have known about this thing before I got a beer gun. Wayyyy better and easier to use and way cheaper. Much easier to sanitize too. There are different sized ones for different types of tap. So make sure to order the correct one. Now I'm bottling singles and not dragging pieces of hose and CO2 tanks all over the place. I don't even readjust my serving pressure. 8-10psi

If you have one of the compatible faucets and fill growlers, then this is worthwhile to make it quick and easy to fill them with minimal air contact, getting the beer to the bottom of the jug and without splashing. The o-ring snug fit was perfect and I found a quick rinse and spray with StarSan left it ready for the next time.

Bought for Perlick 650ss tap. Didn't fit they sent another and this one fit but I had to send the second one back. great product!

Simply too tight. Right model but just won’t fit past 1st ring. Had to return it.

I have Perlick 650SS taps and this clearly does not fit. I applied a drop of canola oil on the o-rings but it did not help. Forced it in by rotating at the same time and hardly managed to get it inside the tap, not without damaging the o-rings. I have not tested it yet to see if it leaks or not, but I don’t feel too confident.Is there such a large tolerance on the Perlick tap’s inner diameters that this has to be machined that large, resulting in a too tight of a fit in my case?

The beer was spraying out the sides of hose. Lowered my beer pressure before trying it and it still was spraying out the side

I was worried about ordering this because of the mixed reviews and the risk that it wouldn't fit. I'm glad to say it fits perfectly, nice and snug in both my 650ss taps. It needs a medium amount of force to push into place, enough to give you confidence that there is a seal but not so much that the O rings will quickly wear away.I purchased in the UK so delivery and customs charges cost as much as the item itself, which is annoying, but this service from Amazon is a really convenient way to get items from the US. Gone are the days of waiting an extra month for Royal Mail to charge you an admin fee for processing your customs fee!
