I have to carry lots of books. I'm talking around 50lbs. How many books could this backpack hold?

I'm in nursing school so my text books are massive I'd say 2 massive medical text books plus folders and miscellaneous stuff. I'd say it can def hold 50lbs.

Do the wheels get the back of your shirt dirty when it's being used as a backpack or is there some kind of shield?

The wheel are good. I roll my everywhere I go but please don't put it on your back because I made that mistake once and messed my white shirt up. I hope this help you out.

Would you recommend this for a college student?

I am going on the the 5th semester. Has worked great. Would not trade it.

I dont know exactly but I can fit 2 text books 2 notebooks a 800 page book and a 200 page book with a 2 1/2 inch binder not including other pockets

THE BEST BOOKBAG EVER.

As soon as I opened the box I knew this bookbag was AMAZING. The quality of this bookbag is definitely amazing quality. I am a dental hygiene student , and I most definitely needed a lot of room. Samsonite has been my go to for many years, private or business use, this product is no different.Does what it needs to do and has a spacious main compartment, including a spot for your laptop if you need that. I use mine as a day pack and carry my work shoes in there along with a change of clothes.Mostly use the pull handle to hang my shirt and pants in a change room so its not on the floor.
