Got this for my son and he likes it. I like that it is a longer flat bar that rests on top of the door frame and not like others that have two smaller points of contact at the top. This longer bar makes it more secure and it protects the door frame because it distributes the weight. I also like that the bar you hang from is separate from the one that touches the wall, so you are not inside the door frame with less room. This separate bar is also adjustable for height, which is a great feature. The only thing is that I had to cut and attach a little more padding for the shoes that rest on the sides of the door frame (I used furniture floor pads), but other than that, it is great.

Bought this as my only choice because the only door we can hang a pull up bar (without drilling) was our thick pocket door. This is built well and fits perfectly over our thick doorway and is easy to use and adjust for size. It allows me, 5ft tall, and my husband, 6ft tall, to both use the bar without adjusting the bars because it has two bars to use to pull up. I put some felt strips where the bar goes against the door frames, and it’s perfect! Easy to pull down and put away if we want to close our pocket door as well

Third one I’ve brought and glad I finally found this one - adjustable sturdy , no squeaking or door frame damage - super tall if you need it , great clearance away from door. Awesome

Directions were a little hard to follow, and a replacement part was needed to put it together correctly, but the company customer service was helpful and is sending a replacement part. Hopefully the part will fix the issue and we'll be able to use it soon!

The assembly instructions are incredibly poor. • It's not clear which way to orient parts as you put them together. • There are no instructions or illustrations to indicate when to use the curved washers. • Astoundingly, the instructions showed the screw sizes incorrectly, so I had to disassemble a couple parts and put the correct screws where they belonged. • There is no indication as to the reason/function of the two sliding doodads that are supposed to go on the flat bar that sits atop the door frame. I just threw them away. The parts are not consistently made. With the adjustable parts of the device, one side fits and moves easily, whereas the other side requires tremendous effort to move. As for the device itself, it seems OK but when I put it in my door it doesn't feel as solid as the bar I used to have.

My 17 year old doesn't always want to go to the gym but wants a quick work out. He bought this for himself and installed it himself. He uses it daily and loves it.

This pull up bar is supposed to be for tall people. It's a perfect height for my friend who's 5'3, so I guess if you consider that tall, this is a great pull up bar for you. This is also overly complicated to assemble. The pieces are manufactured poorly. Some just slide in, but some require a lot of force and twisting.

I was able to mount it in a doorway that seldom requires the door to be closed. It can be placed high enough that the passage can still be used without bumping your head if you are not more than 6' tall. The exercise grip bar could probably go a little
