They do what they're supposed to do. I bought them for camping or when we do an extensive picnic and we need to cut something (ie. fruit, pepperoni). Great colors. Handles are decent. I mainly bought them for the covers on the blades, making them easier and safe to transport. No more wrapping a knife in a dish towel for food prep in the field and hoping for the best when reach into the bag. I don't use these a ton, so I can't speak to how long they hold an edge. I would assume given the price that it's pretty soft steel and these will dull rather quickly compared to a high quality kitchen blade, but that's a guess. You get what you pay for when it comes to the quality of steel in blades. But that also means they're fast to sharpen too.

Very good quality knife set with individual sleeves, very handy. Good value for money with such quality, much better than lots of other big brands that I have had in the past. Lovely color as well, adding colors into your kitchen.
