Were any of your bottles sealed? Mine didnt have a seal to remove under the cap and it leaked. Doesn't seem as thick either.

Was nioxin cleanser 3 (gold top) ever green in color when manufactured in Georgia?

No it was not ever green at all. When it was manufactured in Georgia it did not have a gold top the packaging was white, black and gray. The formulation was white cream color. Today the new formulation has a gold top and is blue in color inside the bottle. I hope this was helpful information to you.
