Great book, some inferred dimensions
Some dimensions are inferred and could be confusing to someone that is new to 3D modeling. Amazing book however, just have to double check the dimensions first, I use it as a teaching aid for mechanical drafting. Highly recommend.

Book of Test Drawings
This is not a 'how to' book or an instruction guide on how to use Inventor. Rather it is a book of 200 tests that examine how well you have been trained to use the software. As an example, I noted in some of the Amazon reviews that some of the dimensions are said to be missing. Any missing dimensions are not important ones but what is evident from example 07 onwards is that a knowledge of tangential constraints is required to produce the correct radius curve connecting two other curves at the appropriate places. The tests in the book therefore don't just test the ability to sketch, extrude and revolve in Inventor but also how well you understand and can interpret technical sketches.I am using the content to test my ability to use SpaceClaim which works a little differently from Inventor but which hitherto doesn't appear to have any english language manuals.I think this is a rather fine book which will stretch and improve the understanding of Inventor.

What's that dimension?
Good practice however some drawings are missing important dimensions.

Is NOT for Beginners
Inaccurate description. It does NOT provide how-to step by step CAD instructions. Still, it provides ideas for exercises if you are an instructor, but that we can get online.
