I was looking for the soil moisture meter and I encountered this product. It has the soil moisture, ph and light meter all packed in 1 product and still price was comparable to products which offered only soil moisture meters. The good reviews on this product helped me make the decision. I've tested the soil moisture, ph and light meter and however I don't know if it's accurate but I could see the variation in the readings with different soil and light conditions so I would think it's definitely working. Good display to read the readings and what I liked is that it has a chart for many known plants with their expected moisture and light levels which comes handy. Build quality is nice and the price is unbeatable for such a quality product. I would definitely recommend it.

My plants started looking unhealthy. After I bought this and was able to see if the plant was dry, moist or wet, they flourished. It's a plant saver!I had trouble with my "Vinca" the bushy one with pink flowers, it was turning yellow & losing leaves.. dying. I checked the acidity level and it was low. Long story short I added nitrogen and then iron, it did the trick. My dying, yellow, acid loving flower turned green and full. Thanks to my soil, ph meter! I don't have a green thumb but I'm very proud of my little garden.

A. Moisture setting: works perfectly. Use the chart on the packaging. When your soil gets below that number water. Super easy.B. Light setting: this is only measuring the spectrums that the plants use so regular house LED bulbs do not make the meter move. Put it under an actual grow light or in direct sun and it’ll show you the light level. Some of my LED Grow lights register as high as 8 and 9 on the meter. Regular house bulbs will help some low light plants grow but they aren’t a replacement for the sun and that’s why regular bulbs don’t make the meter move.PH setting: can’t give you info on that. I haven’t used it and don’t have a separate PH test kit to measure accuracy.

This is not a particularly sturdy product, but should be fine to occasional, gentle use (mostly indoors); which is a good trade-off for low cost. However, the directions on package are not user friendly. Instead of inserting a single page, easy to read sheet, all instructions are printed on packaging. Therefore, since "space" is limited and instructions are printed in triplicate (3 different languages); the print is very small and difficult to read even for young eyes.

I'm a new "plant mom" and I have a tendency to both over water AND underwater on a regular basis - I can't tell you how many plants I've killed before I got this soil meter. Now I never have to worry about my plant's soil moisture - this meter tells me in an instant! I'm also able to make sure that my new plants get enough light - the light readings chart that came with the meter's packaging is AMAZING. I was able to move my new fiddleleaf figs to a better area and they immediately started putting out new leaves. Would highly recommend this soil meter!!

I NEVER knew when to water my plants before. Consequently they all died of over watering or drought. I think I just read in some Google article or other that one needed a water gauge to determine when to water. SAY WHAT??? Now I’m a pretty intelligent person. If I had ever known there was such a thing I’d have gotten one a thousand years ago. Now I know. Now I have one (thank you Amazon prime!). I use it several times a week and no plant funerals at my house in quite a while. Highly recommend! (It’s sort of like a meat thermometer - only for plants!).

I use this for my house plants. It gives me everything you need to know, special it they are dry and need water. All this and you don’t need a battery.

I’m a new plant mom and I have been watching YouTube videos to help. Many mentioned a moisture meter, however I realized that there was this 3in1 which I heard a few people mention is good for those new to all things plant, so I snagged this one and am beyond thrilled it’s easy to use easy to read not too big. The price was great and it’s something I use daily since I kinda have to chase the sun in my place, I have to move my plants & this helps me know they are getting good light and saves me time.
