Better Price Than My School's Bookstore
While I don't like the content of the book that I'll have to learn from my class, this is exactly what was described, and cheaper than the bookstore.

Fine as an overview, not good for use as a PMP exam study guide
Many of the illustrations look like they were screen captures off a computer and they are so tiny and blurry that they can't be read. The writing tends to be pretty dry (though it would be tough to make this topic fascinating). At the end of the chapters there are questions and problems that refer to datasets that aren't found in the book. I managed to figure out that there is a website that, if you pay extra, has the datasets on it. There aren't complete sample problems done for all of the concepts, so it's hard sometimes to check your own work. There are references to the PMI/Agile guide, but no indication of how the information in the book connects to the PMP exam. So, it's a decent overview of the discipline, but don't use it to study for the PMP exam!

Very well written with good examples and illustrations. One of the better project management books.

Book is good and is what I needed for my class
Ordered this book for my college on-line course. It does not come with MS Project. I called and asked why and they just sent me out a new book, but that one didn't have it either. Have to get MS Project downloaded through my college. The one at the college bookstore has the software cd with it. Book is good and is what I needed for my class.
