It keeps the food warm and cold . But it cannot take too much weight .

Definitely does it's job. It's not the most durable or fancy but it does keep stuff cold. I used it recently for a road trip where it was in the car for 12+ hours at a time with 4 ice packs and it stayed cool until around hour 12/13. Surprisingly fits a ton of stuff. It comes with 2 ice packs but I added more because I needed it to be colder for longer.

This is our second one of these. The handle broke on our first one after about five years of use (We've carried heavy loads so I don't blame the fact that the handle eventually broke.). Highly recommend.

This little picnic basket was very sturdy, we gave it as a gift for a baby shower for the quests that played the games and won.
