I've kept it on for nearly 2 years and it hasn't held up even though I care for it well. It developed permanent scratches early on that are more in the coating and not the actual plastic. I continued to use it anyway but the vision was a bit cloudy due to the scratches. Not unusable, but noticeable. I took it off today and put the original clear shield that came with the helmet and never used. Huge difference in clarity! For what it is, it's a bit pricey which is why I took a star away. Then another star for being to easy to scratch. I would buy again if the price were lower, but am on the lookout for a better option.
