Q: Has anyone had their handle break yet? Is it really stronger than the wooden handle kind?

I tell you I love this thing. The handle is strong, way better than a metal handle. Believe it is stainless steel or chrome over stainless steel. It’s an awesome product

Q: Do you pre Heat this press before using?

I do not believe that you pre heat the press. You just place it on top of what you are heating or cooking without prior heating.

Q: Can this be used in the oven

Yes it can be used in an oven. Nothing will burn on it. The handle I think it’s stainless steel.
