Fructus Virginis 100ML by Alexandria FragrancesExtrait De Parfum, Long Lasting, Day or Night Time

Having tried both the tom ford LC and this alexandria I must say I prefer this one. The TF is a bit synthetic, syrupy (maraschino) almost medicinal cherry to my nose initially and dries down smoky. The FV smells to me more of a darker real cherry with a bit of boozy sweetness. The TF loses alot of that cherry note very quickly and does not last very long on my skin unfortunately making the price outrageous for what it is. This keeps that strong cherry note throughout the duration of its wear. If you buy this you must love a strong cherry note that lasts. (I definitely do.) The dark cherry is very prominent which i was hoping for more of in the LC. I'm very happy to have this in my little collection!

I got this as a dupe for a super expensive Cherry perfume, and I am not disappointed. On me, this perfume is long-lasting and is not overpowering, it is something you will only smell if you are close to the person, which I what I prefer.

This is a very pretty perfume. The cherry scent is prevalent and noticeable, with about of fruit sweetness behind it. The staying power could be stronger - the scent does not las tall day, but does for half a day.

Smells like Lost Cherry. Lasts about the same for me as well. I never found the Tom Ford version to be particularly long lasting which is why I tried this fragrance out in the first place. I love the scent and don't think I'll spend $300 when I can buy this for $65 and it smells just as good or better.

I was in search of a nice winter fragrance, so I bought a sample pack from Tom Ford. While searching for a cheaper alternative to Lost Cherry I came across Alexandria's dupe version Fructus Virginis, and I was surprised I like it even better than Tom Ford's version. When Ford's version wears down it leaves a sweet smell that isn't always the best, but Fructus Virginis simply ages better. If you are wondering if the fragrance is for you, I am a woman in my late 20s and Mediterranean coloring (brown eyes, brunette, olive skin tone). If you are fair skinned, I would not recommend this for you. It might be a little intense. Though that is just my opinion.

I've had this for about 3 months and worn it a dozen times and can confidently say this is a no for me. I will not comment about the scent itself because that's personal preference and body chemistry. And it isnt lost on me that the unfortunate reality of a blind purchase of a scent is that you really are gambling. However, since this listing does not offer returns, id like to put it out there that this product's synthetic smell is so intense that it causes headaches. At first sniff, i thought it smelled like liquor + syrup which was a little sickening but wanted to give it a fair try before deciding it isnt for me. Wore it, went out and returned in 30 min, came back home with the worst headache. The second time I wore it, i had sprayed this on the back of my coat that I wore to a restaurant. I couldn't eat because of the overwhelming scent that had stransfered to me from the coat. Came home with hangover level headache without consuming even a drop of alcohol. Reddit search said that I should leave it be for a bit before using it so after a month of a break, i tried again. I tried to be so so so light handed with it but noticed that I have a headache within a couple of hours of wearing it everytime i tried. Everytime i wore this, i would come home and would have to rip everything off of me and put it in the washer and take a shower. And then I'd be screwed if I touched anything and there were transfers since no amount of febreze could lift the smell. Thanks to this one, ive learned that i get headaches from non-natural ingridients. While I've never encountered issues with other scents, I shall be staying away from synthetics from now on.. Im not one to leave reviews often but I've decided to this time to help those who are sensitive to synthetics. Stay away. Beautiful bottle though.

I wear Tom Ford Lost Cherry and this fragrance is very close to it. Bottle is very heavy Scent does not last very long once it dries on your skin
