What is the width of this actual width of the interior rack for mounting servers in this rack? will my hp proliant dl 360 g6 fit in this?

This is not a traditional rack and there is too much margin for error to give you an accurate width measurement based on how it is assembled. My suggestion is if the width of your server falls within 2-3 inches of the published width get the larger size. If you want some sort of warranty that your server will fit contact one of the amazon re-sellers. We always give our servers and back-ups a lot of room either in a box or rack.

Does this rack come pre built or do we have to build it

The 22U with the Glass door (the default item) says it's 36 inches in the title but only 29 inches in the description. Which is it?

Hello, I do not have the one model with a glass front, mine has the screen front but, I'm sure it is similar, 29in would be max rack mounting inside depth and 36 in would be more of the outside depth. These cabinets are very nice and I like mine a lot and they are very roomy between the rack equipment and the enclosure for cables, plugs, and controls that would stick out from the gear.

does it have fans in the top and if not why are there mounting holes in the top???

StarTech clóset Rack de 19 Pulgadas 15U nuevo, fácil de armar.

Llegó un poco despedazada la caja, pero sus piezas, partes, componentes bien, muy fácil de instalar, excelente producto respetando las dimensiones. Si recuerdo bien la compra en Amazon pero con opción de compra con Buy, llegó antes de lo esperado.

Rather than writing a detailed review of this StarTech 22U rack, I will simply list my comments as they come to mind. ZERO ISSUES : with respect to assembly. Tolerances are close to Mil-spec. Not a single hole that didn't line up. Not a single missing pieces of hardware. Documentation is detailed and easy to follow. Take your time. FLAWELESS: Material is VERY strong. You get what you pay for. When comparing similar server cabinents for less money, pay attention to the weight capacity. StarTech exceeds 1000 pounds while other popular brands (with red stripe doors) don't even reach 200 pounds! My application will be a home server that will also include amateur (ham radio) equipment, a full size Desktop PC, a TripLite UPS, routers, etc. Very very pleased with the packaging, the quality, the design, the appearance and the value. Bottom Line: Do it right the first time. GO STAR-TECH!

Rack 19" de grande qualité, solide et bien fini

Ce rack 19" n'est pas le moins cher certes,mais la qualité est au rendez-vous: qualité des matériaux, solidité, finitions, rien à dire. Le produit est bien protégé dans son emballage carton nid d'abeille. Le montage est simple et facile car les pièces s'emboitent parfaitement. J'ai installé en particulier un boitier UPS très lourd 2U, on se demande comment ça va tenir en porte à faux mais aucun problème, pas de flexion, c'est du solide. Il faut encore l'équiper de quelques accessoires selon son besoin donc c'est un investissement mais c'est fait pour durer.

Tutto bene, solo le istruzioni poco chiare (non per l'inglese bensì per le immagini a caso). Materiali di pregio, rifiniture ottime. Direi perfetto. Consiglio anche le loro slitte per UPS o componenti per rack. ;)
