Q: is it meant to use only on non insulated connectors? tried it on an insulated terminal and it damaged the insulation. any advice would be appreciated.

It’s for non-insulated terminals you crimp it then slide a heat shrink insulated over it

Q: Could you use this for a 3/8 air hose ferrule?
