Not actionable
Don't waste your money. There are much better books about this out there with real pictures to be inspired from. I read this subject a lot and this is really bad quality, which doesn't mirror the quality of the brand, which was surprising.

Excellent advice
I never read decorating books or magazines; I usually only look at the pictures and read the brief descriptions underneath them. But this book is different. I read it from front to back. The chapters are short but full of useful information - all without photos, but the illustrations are spot on. Outstanding.

Good Fit
Not pleased with the pictures displayed inside the book, however, the book is good for displaying and is a good fit on my console table in my bedroom.

Thorough authentic take on the sanctuary of home
I’m endlessly impressed with Ariel and love following her work. In this book she distills information in such an approachable and easy way. It’s clear that she’s the real deal— the Parachute brand is a true reflection of the way she lives simply and purposefully while never sacrificing style. I love how she has such a wholistic approach to home, even including tips on respecting your own body as a sanctuary for your mind, you heart, and your ideals. This is a fantastic book for anyone looking to create space for themselves, to clear their minds and find their sense of style. She gives easy tips without being prescriptive and leaves so much room for individual personalization. Loved it. Going to refer back to it a lot as I nest during quarantine!
