(Zum Einstieg eignet sich das Video "How to program a Music Box" vom Youtuber Wintergatan)

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What does it come with?**
A: It comes with the small music box works, a punch tool, a pre-punched strip, and three blank strips you can punch yourself. It is small, so I returned it. I do not think I would be able to punch the melody I wanted to enter accurately. There is a larger one available, but only the few blank sheets that come with it. You can't order more blanks - but I think you could make them yourself easily enough.

**Q: Can I play the Puppet's song from FNAF2?**
A: Hi SanjayThe strip has a range (width) of two octaves; CDEFGABCDEFGABC; and is 52 beats long. There is an equal number of off beats. As long as the Puppet's song from FNAF2 fits within these parameters then I can see no reason you cannot play itIf the Puppet's song from FNAF2 is longer than this then you can tape two or more melody strips together.I hope this helps.PinkCatShop

**Q: How to let it play music automatically? It will only play music when I twist it**
A: I am trying to add Christmas music to a wooden advent calendar. I would like the boxes to have pressure points so that when each door to the calendar is opened a different Christmas song will play. Is this possible?

**Q: Hi, somebody has a dimension drawing (mechanical drawing with dimensions) for this device?**
A: Hello M. QuirogaThank you for your question.I do not have a technical drawing but the main body of the music box occupies a space of approximately 2½" Wide X 1 7/8" Deep X 1" High (6.5 cm X 4.7 cm X 2.5 cm).The handle extends 1¼" (3.2 cm) and has a turning circle of approximately 1" (2.5 cm). There are pre-drilled holes to enable you to mount the box.I hope this helps.Best WishesPinkCatShop

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly impressive quality
*by N***2 on 24 May 2023*

I bought this as an experiment, as I'm looking to make a music box with a tune I can't find on standard music boxes, and I've been very pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The quality of the sound is excellent - much clearer and louder than I expected. For my project I was considering using a normal music box and making a customised barrel for the tune I need. But having watched a couple of YouTube videos of people who'd tried that (and they were far more skilled craftsmen than me) this product seems much easier to use, and the sound quality is much better than they achieved. I would definitely recommend using this if you need a music box with a rare tune, rather than trying to make your own drum/barrel. The unit itself is pretty solidly constructed, not as fragile / plasticky as it looks in some photos, and the mechanism that translates the holes in the paper into plucks of the comb is more substantial than I thought too. It will serve as a long-term mechanism and I imagine the punched paper could easily be replaced with something stronger like a thin strip of metal if you needed something permanent.
