Specialist renal diet cat food, as recommended by our vet.
Royal Canine make some excellent pet food and our cats have all loved eating numerous varieties. Recently, our elderly female cat was diagnosed with renal problems, so we bought this to help restore her health. It wasn’t available at our local pet store as it’s a specialist pet food, so I ordered some for home delivery. Sadly, we were let down by that courier company, not only missing the estimated delivery date, but also missing the actual delivery day. It eventually arrived 3 days later than expected. In the mean time, I ordered this smaller bag via Amazon and paid for next day shipping. It arrived before the other courier could get their act together. Whilst it’s a little more money per kg, it meant we could start our at on the much needed new diet. Our cat took to the new food without any fuss or persuasion and eats it with the same relish she always does. This product is labelled Renal Select; which as far as I can tell, is the same as Renal Special. The only difference between the two is that the Renal Special packaging appears to be aimed at a French/European market.

My fussy cat loved them. So surprised and happy. Highly recommend.
I have bought every brand, every flavour and texture of wet and dry renal food and my cat with stage 3 renal disease would not eat any if it. I bought this but didn’t think it would be any good as it said no flavour. But to my amazement my cat is eating it super enthusiastically. I’m so so happy. Great food for renal cats. Highly recommend.

Cats like it
We have been feed our indoor fussy cats with this as recommended by our vet. They are doing well with this. We have tried cheaper products as well as more expensive ones but our cats and next door neighbour’s cat appear to really like this. It is expensive but there is no wastage and cats are doing well on it so it’s worth it

About the only dry renal food my cat will touch
my beautiful 16-year-old Cat has stage three renal failure. I have spent a small fortune on different renal foods which she totally rejects and have ended up flashing down the loo. This renal select although she will not eat masses of it she will actually eat a bit of it its the only one out of all of them that she has Bothered to try it’s normally a sniff and that’s it walks away but on this occasion she will eat some of these so it’s worth going for these if you’ve tried other things and it doesn’t work. This might as it’s more like treats, The trouble is when our animals are ill the foods we need to access are so very expensive and I’ve probably wasted over £400 just trying to find something that she will eat so it was a godsend to find this one as I’m trying everything I can to save her for a few more years I wish the renal food was better flavoured to encourage our loved ones to eat it I would recommend renal select out of all I have tried

Renal cat food.
Our cat loves this he has renal problems and I found these to be the best suited for him. The only drawback is it is the most expensive mixture in the renal dry food so the expense is the negative part if this product.
