Two CD live archive release. Violinist Papa John first came to the notice of rock fans when he joined Jefferson Airplane in 1970. When they became Jefferson Starship, Papa John was still with them and played on many of their biggest albums including Red Octopus in 1975 as well as releasing solo albums on their own Grunt label. This live set was recorded in June 1983 at Long Branch Park, Liverpool NY and is one of the few live performances by Papa John recorded.
