I already own these (and love them!) for going to concerts. Would they also adequately protect my hearing at a NASCAR race?

I found that "A NASCAR race car is measured to be about 125-130 decibels"....the Hearos earplugs reduce the decibles up to...or down to... 20 decibles, so that would be 105-110 decibles of noisen depending of seating, with the earplugs in. Based on CDC statictics, you could listen to about 91 decibles of noise for about 2 hours, without it starting to impact hearing. So I would recommend buying/using a stronger decible reducing earplug for the NASCAR races... good luck!

yes I wear them every night. it is the only way my husband and I can sleep in the same room!! I am so used to them that I can't sleep without them anymore. amazing if your spouse snores .

The listing says the nrr is 12, but it "protects up to 20 decibels." how is this possible? are they counting dba or c-weighted db?

I’m really not sure, but I sat up close at an Alice In Chains concert and for once was able to enjoy the music without my hearing being assaulted.

What size are these Hearos High Fidelity ear plugs ?

These are small size. If you look at the image of the package, at the top it says "1 pair small". I ordered these and they are quite small. I ordered another set in the original size because they feel too small for me.
