Q: Has anyone used this outside or on a heavy project? I need to fix a shed door.

I used them to hang a fairly heavy bathroom door. It works great!

Q: I need to move my screw hole just to smidge to the right, I can't do that because the hole is already there will this allow me to do that?

A reasonable shortcut for moving a hole a smidge (in wood, not sheetrock) is to stuff the existing hole with wood matches, breaking off what pokes out. The matchsticks prevent your new efforts from turning a hole into an oval hole. You might still need to drill out an appropriate pilot hole to open up room where you want the screw to be centered. I also think this is more reliable and faster than filling the hole with wood putty.

Push the anchor into the hole firmly with the screw driver to hold the prongs into the door and tighten the anchor before loading the screw with whatever you are hanging. Worked for clothes hangers with heavy loads.
