It cleans both the carpet and the ceramic floor very well but the cord is annoying and the cordless option only lasts 30 minutes, it’s also heavy weight.

Update on February 2022: after testing it on a small tomato sauce spill. I was very disappointed in that it doesn’t really scrub the floor well. The tomato paste is lifted but there is a very bad red stain left that can be removed by wiping with tissue or cloth. I don’t recommend this device for spills, I can only recommend as a daily quick vacuum/mop. Any spills will not be thoroughly cleaned and also cleaning the machine is very annoying afterwards.Great device. Otherwise don’t expect it to deep scrub tough stains. and it feels like it’s not deep cleaning surfaces but when walking over freshly cleaned surfaces it feels very nice on bare feet. From my experience it doesn’t leave any streaking or water spots on the floor. Also this device doesn’t get used daily because of the maintenance/cleaning required for it after each use.

Worth the value, however the operational cost buying the liquid is on the high side, because you cannot use other liquid that are more cheaper and lager in quantity.

Using as mopping for hard floors is not so good as expected, less water consumption and dry floor in result with few wet lines.

All in all good in terms of vaccum and cleaning however the device is really heavy.

We have recently moved into an old property with a tiled floor and backing into fields. With 2 dogs regular mopping did not seem to be effective.After a bit of research we ordered the Bissell hard floor cleaner. As you can see from the first photo the floor appears to be reasonably clean. (Part of a 20m2 tiled floor) After 1 pass using the rug setting the dirt container has collected enough dirt for an archaeological survey.

I bought this based on the many positive reviews on Amazon. I've got tiled floors throughout my downstairs, and was hoping to find a washer/scrubber that eliminated the need for a mop and bucket and a shed load of elbow grease. This product claimed to replace a Hoover and a mop. It doesn't. At all.As far as the hoovering goes the machine won't get under much or into corners or edges at all. It cuts out if you have the handle at too much of an angle so you have to keep it very straight, which is extremely awkward. Whilst it's failing to vacuum it also fails to scrub. The brush is pathetic, doesn't get any significant dirt off the tiles, and will clearly need replacing after a short amount of time. The machine itself collects about half of the water it squirts out, so basically it will get your floor wet so it looks cleaner temporarily.It did seem to be slightly better on carpet, but definitely doesn't replace a proper carpet cleaner.All in all, perhaps if your house is already quite clean, you plan on using it several times a week, and you dont mind replacing the brush once a month... even then I wouldn't recommend the damn thing!For the money I expected something decent, and was thoroughly disappointed.

Before this review gets censored, I am not part of any marketing campaign and bought this for my own usage at home with my housemates. We wanted to invest in one reliable 'for all' purpose machine. This was such a bad mistake - this started to have faults just a few weeks after buying, and they have deteriorated. It simply moves dirty water around, and does NOT clean. When you take a backstroke all the dirty water comes out. Furthermore, now the sides spell out foamy water so it creates a foam of lather across the entire floor which is messier than the original without cleaning. Every stroke pushes out more foam/water than it sucks in. This is with me NOT EVEN PUTTING ON THE WATER RELEASE BUTTON. I am a sensible investment banker who reads instructions and has no reason to write a bad negative review. However this product simply doesn't do what it says. That's why it probably was on Amazon Prime Day at a discount, because it is such bad quality. Please get in touch if you want video evidence - this is not worth buying.

I was initially skeptical about this product due to the price, however I am now convinced! It arrived well-packed, simple to set up, easy to use (didn't need to look at instructions) and works well. The vaccum element is on par with a Henry Hoover in terms of suction which is fine for hard floors, although I am yet to test out it's rug capabilities. The swivelling head and lightweight design allows for great maneuverability around obstacles. However, the Bissell CrossWave would definitely benefit from a handheld utensil for the more intricate areas. The trigger mechanism to activate/deactivate the water element allows for a streak-free and relatively dry finish in comparison to the mop and bucket method. Although the Bissell detergent is recommended, it was seemingly not necessary following use with and without, with relatively indistinguishable results. Regular cleaning of the comparatively small waste tank, filter and roller make for an efficient clean and great finish. Time will tell whether the Bissell CrossWave will hold up to the regular and rigerous, daily use.

Due to reviews on amazon I decided to replace my steam cleaner with the duel cleaner so I didn’t have to keep changing cleaner for steam mop.I’ve used the cleaner this morning, well to say it’s good was a understatement. We live on a farm so house proud is a struggle. Mud..cow mud.. leaves and assorted dirt gets carried through into my kitchen from the outbuildings were my husband takes of wellies and outerwear.I was emptying the dirty water container to the machine when my husband asked if i was conducting some experiment. I always thought i was clean with my steam mop. Well i was ashamed of my flagstone floor. The results where overwhelmingly.Durability to the machine im not sure yet, but the results of my first cleaning was staggering.
