The unit is a good option for a wireless extender. It is quite large so it will cover 2 power point outlets. I have used several of this model both at work and home and it is usually very easy to set up and configure but, for this specific unit, I had to perform a factory reset several times before it could be configured to work properly.

Read various reviews - some good, some not so good. Notwithstanding that, it works quite well for extending my Wifi signal - I am happy with my purchase.

Unfortunately, unlike my previous experience with D-Link devices, this one has been a major disappointment. The device can't even project wifi signal to the next room, less than 7-8 meters away. In my 1400sqft house, there has been no improvement in the coverage area, and I'm still stuck being close to my router with my devices. There are days I just end up turning off this range extender, without even noticing (and falling back to my router for it's signal). I would not recommend this to anyone.
