Really looks good and the light is bright. I did have to splice some wires but overall I would buy it again

Cheap Garbage!
I've had this for a year since June 2023. I noticed recently one of the lights were out So I went to the auto store to get some replacement bulbs. The three bulbs, one brake light in the middle and two cargo lights one on either side. The brake light was was definitely burnt out (evidenced by the bulb) and one of the cargo lights (I thought) were burnt out.I get up in the back of the truck to remove the two phillips mounting screws holding the unit to the cab. I twisted the receptacles to remove them from the lamp assembly, and replaced them with new bulbs. This is where I noticed the bulb socket VERY LOOSELY held the bulb, so I had latex gloves on (a must so oil from your fingers will deposit on the bulb. I went to remove the bulb(s) and reseat, but the socket holders are cheap and worthless, they just don't hold the lamp well, and being this is a Ford F150 truck you do go over bumpy roads, so I could fathom where they would 'jiggle' loose out of the socket, in which I did find on the left cargo light side the buld WAS NOT burnt out, just not making good contact because the socket isn't holding it worth a darn (the light wasn't bad, just 'jiggled' loose). I decided to just live with it until I can buy a factory assembly instead of these cheap knockoffs (most likely from somewhere overseas!). I ALSO Noticed that twisting the receptable back into that lamp assembly, the middle brake light receptacle doesn't lock into place. When I ordered this back in June of 2023, they came with bulbs pre-installed, and I thought the lamp assembly would have lasted longer than this! After all, until June of 2023, the original factory lamp assembly was still working (14 years!). I only replaced it because one of the lenses had cracked, (my fault a two wheel dolly had cracked it). So, in conclusion, don't order this one, (the others are the same knockoffs), it's not worth the trouble or the 21 dollars. I guess the old adage rings true, 'You Get What You Pay For...'Now, in defense of Amazon I have ordered thoussands of dollars worht of items from Amazon. fromsecurity cameras, kitchen products, many items for the home and garage, so this is not Amazon, this is on the reseller...So, Buyer beware, maybe go down to the dealership and buy a part like this from the original manufacturer...

not a direct replacement
bulb sockets not compatible with factory wiring which does not have plug in pig tail as this has. therefore this should have socket openings that would accept the factory bulb sockets. this would require complete rewiring to work. since truck has a cap on it, I just installed it to cover the hole in the roof without connecting the power.
