Philips WhiteVision ultra HB3 car headlight bulb, single blister

Tried a couple of different replacements in my 2014 Land Rover evoque and wasn’t happy with them - colour or brightness was never great. Tried one of these, much better. Replaced the other one so now have a pair in. I like the whiteness and brightness. Just the job - problem solved fir me.

These are slightly paler than the Xtreme vision pro 150s but not as powerful. Paler is more accurate than whiter as a description IMHO. Have put the Xtreme vision straight back in. The extra reach and coverage along with being brighter makes these the preferred choice. In fact as halogens go they are the best I could find. Better than Osrams nightbreakers as well. Honestly I wish I had led headlights but even the really good aftermarket leds with accurate beam pattern are not road usable due to arcade uk legislations. Its about time the better retrofit led bulbs started to receive proper testing and legal markings when justified.

Great product overall, but not as long lasting as original halogen.

The lamps give a great output but last no time, it was just the filament that went, one actually exploded after only 3 months use, the second was also removed and was very badly silvered. Went to make a claim via Amazon and was directed to the manufacturer, 3 months later still awaiting refund/replacement. I will not be fitting them anyway as still have glass fragments in my headlamp assembly I cant get out. Previously used Osram nightbreaker and will be sticking to those in future as they gave me approximately 18 months use. Rubbish lamp and rubbish customer service from a manufacturer that should do much better

This review is for the HB3 fitment, installed on a 2019 Honda Civic.I bought these bulbs to compliment the LED day time running lights and low beam LEDs (also Philips). Unfortunately, whilst I realistically did not expect these to match the colour temperature of the above, which are typically around 6000K, they are actually slightly more yellow than the standard fit Sylvania 'basic' bulbs supplied with the car, with no noticable improvement in projection distance either. As such, this product feels like an expensive downgrade on the previous set up.The problem lies wholly in Philips misleading marketing, which claims 4200K for their WhiteVision Ultra series, unfortunately, if you examine the small print (not covered on Amazon) this only applies to their H7 and H4 fitments. Actual technical data (again, buried deeply within the Philips website), only states 'up to 3800K', which given the overly warm colour of the bulbs, I would say is not even close.Overall, I'm dissapointed to say the least and will give Philips automative products a wide berth in future.

Easy to install but not as white as I would have hoped.

Montate su Kia RIO IV con fari lenticolari e si comportano molto bene.Fanno una bella luce, anche un po' più sui margini laterali rispetto alle classiche. Sono omologate e tra l'altro hanno una buona profondità che le rende molto versatili anche di sera in luoghi non proprio illuminati. Non aspettatevi una luce bianca, poiché non sono a Led. Sono comunque molto belle esteticamente da vedere e rendono meno evidente il distacco da luce bianca delle luci DRL di posizione e gli anabbaglianti.
