Man these lights are cool!! Casts a perfect light for a freshwater tank. I can just stare at it even more now. Well made and quite sturdy. Love how much adjustment on the neck to get the light just right. I love the remote that comes with them as well. On the recommendation of several people in the betta fish groups I belong to on Facebook, I decided to give this light a try. I mounted it to my 10”x10”x10”, 4.13 gallon AquaTop cube nano tank, and love it! Much more light than I need for the plants in this tank. So I am glad it has its own in-line dimmer control. Picture illustrates approximately 25-30% illumination. Also shown using the 60°(?) lens included with the light. It is almost too big to center on a 10”x10” tank. Any smaller of a tank, and you will have to angle the light to focus it where you want it, or use the 180° lens, lighting the surroundings too. Solidly built, the gooseneck stays where you put it. The only thing I wish was an included option, is having something to add to the bracket to brace more firmly onto rimless nano tanks. As I’ve added this light to a newly set up tank, I will update this review when the plants have had a chance to settle in and grow a bit.

Light is a little bit loud but incredibly vibrant and bright, it’s definitely punching above its price range in terms of the parr values for deeper tanks. Timer works flawlessly, the attachment and fit were effortless. No complaints at all, I’ve had the light fog 4 years with no issues.
