Does it work for cars?

Yes as long as your design is place inside car not outside. Also you will have to do a mirror cut to view correctly.

does this work for car windows?

It does but it is not as effective as the regular vinyl. For car windows you are better to use it. The window cling is more for indoor use.

can this be printed on?

This is meant to cut, you cannot print on it. If you want a printable surface meant for windows then you buy the one made by Silhouette, which is not a static cling like the Cricut brand. It has adhesive on the back & comes in a printable sheet size.
