The laces, when compared side-by-side to the original Common Projects laces in white, are not exactly 1:1 as the listing claims. The original laces are slightly thinner with the stitching patterning being smaller and more delicate compared to the replicas. Additionally, the aglet material the replicas are using is thicker, lower-quality, and retains a blue tint from using the wrong kind of plastic. The laces I received were not even the same length, they were about 1" off from one another.Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with my purchase and feel that the $20 price point for these laces cannot be justified given the discrepancies mentioned above. The laces were cheaply-made and definitely should not be marked up to $20 a pair. I do not recommend these or the similar ones found on Etsy.

These are pretty darn close to the original CP laces. You can tell by looking but its more obvious when youre lacing the shoes and there is quite a bit more resistance when youre threading the laces through the holes on the CP achilles (the shoe that I was buying laces for, might feel different for other models). I hope they last longer than the original ones though, if they do not i would consider going the waxed lace route

I’m not big on changing up the originals. If you’re looking for a pair of laces that fits without changing the original composition of the original Common Projects, these are a great match. I really could not tell the difference between these and the original laces that came with my Common Projects Achilles.These are so much better than the generic shoelaces you find at other retailers that sell shoelaces that just don't fit Common Projects Achilles low/BBall low/etc - either the color is off or the size (width and length) is not right.Conclusion: If you're looking for 1:1 replacement laces for your Common Projects low sneakers, look no further than these from Private Laces. My order arrived in 2 business days, another big plus. Highly recommended.

I got to the point where my white Common Projects laces no longer become crisp white after going through the wash, and there's random dark gunk on it. I started looking for replacement laces from CP but nobody really has the real thing and CP support is radio silent.When I found these laces from Private Laces on Amazon, I was cautiously optimistic that these would fit my CP low Achilles so I ordered a pair to test it out. After placing the order, I received the package in just 3 days!Like the other reviews here, I found that the shoelaces fit my Achilles perfectly. I’m very picky when it comes to getting a pair of shoelaces that look as close to the originals as possible. I compared these with my original CP laces and found that they were the same length, width, material, and even the threading pattern was the same.Overall, I’ve been very pleased with my purchase.

Ordered a pair of these to replace the original shoelaces on my Achilles Low. At first glance, these laces look quite similar to the original. But as I took it out of the package I found that one of the laces is obviously longer than the other - by about 5cm. I believe having the same length is the least anyone can expect from a pair of shoelaces. This is ridiculous.
