Q: Does the metal knurling hurt your palms and this is why gloves are recommended?

It really depends on the individual. We settled on a knurled pattern that is not too coarse/rough, so it is comfortable to use. If however you have sensitive or thin skin you may find it more comfortable to use wearing gloves. It seems most people, including myself, don't wear gloves. Of course it also depends on how much you use it. A few minutes each day is usual and it's unlikely you'd need to wear gloves. If you use it a lot more than that you're more likely to need gloves. Again, it really depends on personal preference.

Q: Is the 120+ price tag the usual price or an inflated one due to gyms being closed?

Hi, depends how often and how hard you use it. It is a very robust and heavy bit of kit. Don't know but I think the washers will last some time.

Hi, I'm not familiar with how sidewinder measure their resistance, but in our FAQ section we have this: "The range of resistance the wringer provides is equivalent to using a traditional wrist roller device with between 0.5kg to 50kg (1lb to 110lbs) hanging from the cord. So using your wringer at around 50% setting is like a wrist roller with 20kg (44lbs) hanging from the cord. Ultimately it's just a number and it's still best to go with what feels good to you. So simply tighten your wringer up to a point where you feel you're getting a good workout."
