Botanica RS2 Gentle Lotion 120ml/4oz

I shake this and spray two-three sprays into my hand then pat it on my face. It's the consistency of watery milk, but not sticky and doesn't leave any residue. I wonder if others experiencing stickiness is because they aren't shaking it? The spray component makes me feel it stays more sanitary as other toners with a hole on top can allow bacteria and stuff to get into the bottle. The smell is neutral. It has a slight smell, but I can't identify it. Maybe a little herbal? It's extremely light to not noticeable and goes away upon application. If I'm avoiding other things that flair up my Rosacea, this completely illuminates any redness; whereas I normally always have a little bit of redness no matter what I do. However, if I have a bad flairup that includes the type of rosacea that has small raised bumps with tiny pustules (Papulopustular Rosacea), this can get me back on track within 2 days. I originally tried this because it has camellia like some Chanel products. For a product that goes on first and really sinks into skin, I wanted the ingredients to be well researched and high quality. This did seem closer in price to luxury skin products, so I was hesitant. However, especially because of how well it works, the nice packaging and delivery method, plus how little I use each time, it's well worth it.

I have been using Pevonia RS2 lotion for many years. This toner is used after cleansing and before moisturizing. I have rosacea and using these products has worked well for me. I continually get complements on my "wrinkle free" skin and I am 61 years old! I would never swithch from using this product. It also smells good. It has a hint or a rose smell.

The product itself is high quality. The marketing practices now are shabby as represented by the new packaging. This product in its previous packaging contained over six ounces for a similar price. In this packaging there are only four ounces It is shabby behavior. The cleanser repeats the sorry story. In addition the new packaging is hard and the cover does not open so that product will be trapped inside as it gets nearer the bottom leading to less product for actual use. So the package is short four ounces plus and has packaging that will waste more product thus pushing the customer to have to buy more. I have been a loyal buyer for years but am now looking for a similar quality product whose purveyors have more respect for their clients. Milda Hedblom

Love Pevonia products. They are the only skincare products that soothe my dry, sensitive skin. Can't give any Pevonia product 5 stars because they are all too expensive. If I could find a less expensive product that worked for my difficult skin, I would buy it, for sure.
