This is a simple key safe. It is perfect for a car for your checked luggage when traveling (remember you can't put your weapon in carry on). It comes with steel cable to connect to your car frame or seat frame. It has good padding and holds a full sized weapon with 3 or 4 magazines easily. It is sturdy and can take a bit of a beating. I accidentally dropped it twice and decided to kicked it down the street just to see what would happen. It had a few scratches but nothing else.It works well and is a good little safe for the money. It lives in my car now as a safe place when I can't carry.

Just received my gun case and it works perfectly as advertised. It is big enough to hold my handgun and 2 extra magazines. I've read reviews where people say they can only fit 1 gun and 1 magazine. It's all in how you arange them.

Needed a place to store valuables when traveling. The cable allows me to secure it to the bottom of the passenger seat. Long enough cable to place on the seat when loading it up. Better than glove box or console. I prefer the key over the thumb lock. Comes with 2. Easy to secure with cable or to a fixed object.Foam is a nice for holding smaller objects. Priced right and well built.

I got one of these for the camper. It's not Fort Knox, but for the price it will keep curious kids or a smash-&-grabber from having easy access to things they shouldn't. I liked it enough to get a second one for my vehicle. Now I have a safer place to leave my cell phone, money, personal protection when I don't want to bring any of it with me, such as at the beach or swimming, etc.
