Amazing product
I’m very happy I invested in this product. It’s been a while I have been trying to get rid of all my non stick pans. These pots and pans are just amazing once you get the hang of using them. They do need more oil/fat to fry things but that is Norma for stainless steel pans. You have to let the pan heat well n then add your oil/fat. I am very happy and highly recommend this product.

Good quality and sturdy handles and lids. Does attract stains inside but using a metal sponge most of it comes off.

Happy with my Calphalon cookware set

Just started using these, but have found out quickly the key is to follow the instructions, let the pan heat up first then add your oil once that has come to temperature then add your food, it takes some trial and error and I had extra eggs to eat the one day as I used those to experiment with, but to my satisfaction they come up clean if the instructions are followed

Absolutely love this set of cookware, for both stove and oven use. So easy to clean too!!

I have had the 10 piece set for a little over a year now and love it. Quality is very high as is performance. A few tips: Always preheat the skillets before adding oil or protein. Always! Do not use on high heat. Yes, stainless can suffer from sticking and it is due to user error. Cleaning, if used properly is easy. I always hand wash and dry. If something, such as scrambled eggs, do stick a bit, a few minutes soaking will loosen the material and allow easy clean up. If necessary, a cleaner like Bar Keepers Friend can be used. Finally, I take good care of the surfaces and only use wooden or plastic utensils in them. This has been an excellent purchase for me.

I absolutely love my new set of Calphalon Classic Steel cookware! I've been a long time user of "non-stick" pans and T-fal products. From a cooking perspective, I've grown over the years in both my technique and education, so I decided to upgrade to a stainless steel pot and pan set. I was a bit nervous as first, as I had read the reviews of the pans "sticking badly" and other horror stories. Prior to my first use, I read up on how to cook with stainless steel pans. I saw many people who recommended "seasoning" your pans first (much like you would with cast iron). I wasn't sure of this, so I contacted Calphalon and this is their response: Thank you for taking the time to contact Calphalon. We truly appreciate your interest in our products. We would advise not to use tips that refer to "seasoning" the stainless steel cookware. You would not want to season it like cast iron. For each use until you are more comfortable with the rate of heat you experience you want to start off with a low heat and gradually move to the higher setting you prefer. In addition you always want to use butter or oil before putting anything in the pan. Omelets and pancakes will be trickier to keep from sticking. Below are some links that may assist you. I decided to try and cook an egg first, as I figured if I was able to do this, I could just about cook anything in these stainless steel pans. I was VERY happy with the results! I let my pan warm up slowly and then added butter until it was bubbling (but not smoking/burning). I added the egg and it slide around in the pan MUCH better than any non stick pan I have ever used before! The egg cooked perfectly and slid directly out of the pan onto my plate. I then let the pan cool COMPLETELY before cleaning it (to avoid any possibility of warping, as stainless steel can do so when going from hot temps to cold temps quickly). It was incredibly easy clean up! I am SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE! I just wish I hadn't waited so long. :)
