Understandable Statistics: Concepts and Methods

I took both a biostats class and a regular stats class at the same time, it did become a bit confusing keeping some terms correct between the two, but overall, the book did what it was suppose to. For the class, we mostly used the inside tables (just under the cover) and the added foldout sheet that had a list of all equations that correlated with each chapter was really useful for exams and finals.

The format with contrasting colors and text boxes is super distracting. The authors don't explain concepts well. They are not in-depth enough in some cases. They waste a lot of paper by having a lot of empty spaces or unnecessary pictures and distracting borders. The only good thing about this textbook is it offers a lot of practice problems.

I know I am just renting the book but it has some damage that I dont want responsible for but I cant wait to read this and learn.

Quick delivery but sadly no access card. My grandson called today needing it. If it would havae been listed, I would have happily purchased it.

Has a lot of sources besides statistics.Chapter 5 has problems that are difficult to read solutions for.
