Plastic. If your kids are little, it will be fine. My older boys (13 &11) haven broken a couple, but they are really rough. Hope this helps!

Great product

This is a bargain. Great value and my little girl loves it. My only gripe is one stick is for left handed and one for right handed. 90% of people are right handed (I am a lefty BTW), so why not make it for 2 right handers. Very odd. Anyway, great product nonetheless.
