A decent model kit...
The Academy 1/72 scale P-47D isn't a bad model kit, it's simple to assemble, but it needs a little attention around it's seams & if you want an top notch details you'll have to add some aftermarkets to this kit. If you want to have really exquisite detail, with hassle free assembly & don't want to deal with aftermarkets though you're better off paying a bit more for the Tamiya kit. Personally, I bought this kit as it's the recommended base set to go with the Kora Models 1/72 scale TP-47G Double-Bolt conversion set.

Well Made
My first model in over 30 years and it turned out pretty good. Parts fit together pretty well - No noticable gaps.Once I get an airbrush it will be a game changer!

A well made , fun build kit.
The parts had excellent fit. they came off the sprue easily and were well laid out. I use humbrol poly cement and the plastic in this kit had very fast adhesive properties.
