Q: This seems extremely expensive if its just olive oil. Couldn't one get the same results with cooking oil a lot cheaper (extra virgin olive oil)?

Cooking oil or OVO bought in the store is not the same and the OVO has an odd smell. I've used this product and it's really very good. I would request some samples from DHC before buying a bottle. I think the amount is a little small to moisten the body of an adult. If used all over the body, it may disappear in 1 to 2 weeks. I use it on my hands as well as my face, but I don't use it on my body. Although this company is headquartered in Japan, it does not sell body lotions in the United States. In Japan, this company sell body oils, body massage creams, and body mists. However, the size is not large.

It is a great under make up moisturizer. It does not leave my skin oily, my skin feels like satin when the oil is applied.
