Works well for English-Chinese communication. The translation has been accurate overall. Cannot vouch for other languages. It's very easy to use and easy to carry. Looking forward to using it in East Asia.

We got this so my partner could talk to my family, after 30 minutes using, it stopped working. We tried again on the next day, and it was super slow. We tried restarting and nothing. It was faster using the translator app on my phone. Not worth the money at all.

A very good lightweight language translator. It translates spoken language very accurately. Use my smartphone as a Wi-Fi hotspot to use photo translation when away from other Wi-Fi sources. The translator is small enough to fit in your pocket. Very helpful when traveling overseas. My relatives liked it very much and wanted to own one.

This device is really cool. We went to German for vacation and it helped out alot. I enjoyed the scan a picture option which was helpful for menus and signs. I will say offline mode is not great it wasn't helpful at all when it was offline. It still translated but the scan option didn't work and some of the translation was messed up. But to my biggest complaint is that there is limited languages only like 16 or so*Update*It's been a 4 months since I've used this device and it worked amazing at translation, but I am getting ready for a trip and I went to charge it and the device is completely dead, will not charge. Will not turn on,nothing just dead. I can't do anything else to get it alive either since it won't charge so unfortunately I had to lower the stars I gave due to this because I kept it with its box sitting on a shelf in my dresser for the past four months there shouldn't be a reason for it to not work anymore. I had it on the charger for 6 hours now and I'm pronouncing it deceased. It sucks because this device worked so well just to due for no reason so beware

Make sure you have use of Wi-Fi wherever you go. The off-line works, but having Wi-Fi is better I love this little gadget, a very necessary gadget

I had to copy AND expand the booklet that came with it . The print was so extremely tiny that i couldn't read it at all . So, i blew up the booklet . Then the instructions were somewhat vague . But i did figure it all out . The device works well . And has good volume . It was a little difficult navigating the unit as i was learning it . But i did manage . It only works when you're near your WiFi . Once you get used to it , you like it . The photo translator does not seem to work . But i don't need that anyway .AFTER i read the instructions , i found that it can work in a "paired" capacity with another unit. If i had known that before , i would have bought two . That way , my guest from Europe could hold one while i enter some languae for the machine to translate. And my guest could have held his own to both read and hear my comments (translated) and also back at me .

I do alot of traveling to other countries and it very hard for me to understand them so with this translator I can understand what there are saying and it make life alot easier very easy to use voice recognition very accurate and great price
