Q: Is this considered a "deep dish" pie pan?

No. If it doesn't say deep dish, it's not deep dish.

Q: Can any of you seasoned bakers tell me if this is similar to the vintage mid-century Pyrex pie dishes? Lightweight with shallow sides?

Yes it is. It's a tempered glass so it has weight but has the shallow sides. Cooks evenly, sure beats the metal one I was using.

Q: On the pie pan itself, is the word Pyrex in all capital letters or lower case letters?

pyrex, all lower case. Made me look!

Q: Are the letters printed on this on the bottom (back side) of the pan, or are they on the inside as raised letters? Thanks.

They are raised on the underside of the pan, not on the inside.
