Why spend $30 more on a Sandmarc
I also have the Sandmarc 17-40 inch action stick. I love the Sandmarc but this pole has been so great I don't see myself getting another Sandmarc with how muchore it costs. (Unless ofcourse I decid I need the extra 4 inches)Got this product to use with my GoPro Max.i use it mainly while riding my electric skateboard. Usually cruising around 25-35 mph. It has worked great for the month I have had it. Other reviews have mentioned that the actual mount is plastic. It is but I have no reason to doubt it's durability. Would I feel more secure if it were aluminum? Yes, but for $10 this thing is amazing. If this breaks at some point nothing is keeping me from buying it again. It is an easy twist lock for extension and retraction. I have had no issues with the pole extending or retracting when I didn't want it to.I have had no issues with the pole flexing when I have it fully extended.

excellent lightweight, easy to extend and lock extender!
i would not consider this a selfie stick, nor a self-contained monopod, yet a "monopod tripod extender" would be the closest description... it really is an extender (with 1/4" female at base and 1/4" male at tip) and my intention is to extend my tripod height to create a photographic backdrop screen system...it is the only monopod extender i could find, with a std photography 1/4" female fitting on base/handle to go into the 1/4" male fitting on the tripod quick-release plate and a 1/4" male fitting at the top for digital camera, cell phone holder (with 1/4" female fittings), gopro, etc.☐ this extender is;• light weight• robust• easy to extend and lock... with a slight turn at each ext. section.furthermore, this tripod extender could be used for a unique high perspective for various photo ops, as well as use with a clamp at end to get 10' height for attaching a lamp or shade or a support pipe for attaching Backdrop Screen(in my case) or _____, etc....there are loads of options with this extender! ...very pleased, Thank you! :-)

An Inexpensive Option
I needed a selfie stick for my GoPro and didn't need anything fancy and ordered this. It worked fine and even ordered a 2nd one as a back-up. But when I decided to add an external microphone for my GoPro that's when this selfie stick showed it's true colors. It could not handle the extra weight and kept unlocking and causing the GoPro to tilt over. Even when I switched to the 2nd new one, which had not been used, this problem continued. If your going to vlog with a GoPro and not use any accessories or microphone, this selfie stick should work. I would believe over time even then the locks will eventually wear out.I bought a different selfie stick for only $1.00 more and it handles the weight well, but I did lose 2-6 inches which this selfie stick had, which I do miss.

It's fine, but you get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. It has decent build quality, everything fits together more or less, but there is wobble in the stick itself. I was planning on using this as both a selfie stick, and a small "Tripod", (IE: attaching the stick to a tripod base and using it as the upper extendable part of a tripod) however I don't know how long it'll last as just moving around the top part makes the whole stick wobble about 1/16" inch back and forth. But hell, I paid 10$ for it, and I also go a gopro to 1/4" adapter out of it, so even if / when the stick breaks at least I still have that adapter, which will help with my sony FDR-X3000 accessories. If anything I'd get a better made stick next time. (Probably one from Bestshoot - as their base that I bought has great build quality) Granted it will probably be more expensive.

Lightweight and Simple to use
I like the rubber grip that provides for a non-slipping hold, especially when I use it underwater when scuba diving. The telescoping length allows it to be collapsed and easily attaches to my BC when diving which helps to reduce drag when not filming. The telescoping length also allows for easy storage in your travel bag or backpack. For the price, this is a great value. You could pay a lot more for a similar item.

It’s what you want trust me
Just received product absolutely amazingAt full 36” it is super sturdy no wiggle room at all, I will be putting it to these snowboarding this weekend and then going to Oahu Hawaii all next week. So far it feels great and for under $10 it’s a steal I would grab one ASAP, material does not feel cheap at all if you get the blue color one it feels like it came from go pro 😂 without the priceHighly recommended

Great grip. Sturdy,
This is easy to use. Attaches well to the GoPro. Each section of the pole extends, and a minor twist locks it in place. The pole reminds steady. The handle grip is nice and not slippery. The wrist wrap is handy. The pole is light. The 30 and 36 always felt too short. The 40 inch is just right.

Its Ok, but not Functionally great to take Pics.
This is solid built product with no doubt. Let me start with Pros. and then we will look at its downsides.Pros :-1) Its very well built, its not shaky when you put your camera or Phone on it2) Most important is handle, its very well covered with soft material which feels niceCons :-1) Thing you will miss is the button on the handle to Click pics or videos. Every time either you have to reach to yourPhone or camera and set it on timer. and its a set back.2) Lock system of the extended parts of stick are not easy to operate, you have to put efforts to close it and open it again.

Bad Quality Product
Don't Buy This, Totally wastages of money. In this price, one should expect aluminum make but it's all plastic.
