Happy Belly Roasted and Salted Pecan Halves, 16 Ounce

Short version: Pecans, delicious pecans, roasted in oil and dosed with salt. Crunchy, satisfying pecans that are mostly whole and large pieces. Pronounce "pecan" any way you like because nobody really cares. (The correct pronunciation is "peh-kahn" though. Bless your heart.) The whole story: I hit one of those milestone birthdays this year that tends to prompt some introspection. While I appreciate, am grateful for and enjoy good health thanks to a combination of genes, luck and lifestyle choices, I have expanded my definiton of the generally "sensible diet" I follow. My last decade saw me forswear forever all margarine varieties in favor of genuine butter, the salted kind even! Already this year I've returned to the whole milk I enjoyed in my youth and have abandoned the "white water" that is skim and the various percentages. Then last week, as I was eating a small handful of raw pecans, I thought, "Man, these would taste so much better if they were roasted and salted, and not "dry roasted" either, roasted with OIL." So yeah, unless I genuinely prefer the taste of a dry roasted nut -thinking of cashews here- I'm not going to compromise taste for some meagre health advantage. Oh, and turkey "bacon"? Tried it once when it first hit the market in the early 1990s and once was enough. Anyway, BUY THESE NUTS. THEY'RE DELICIOUS!

I bought this to top off containers of mixed-nuts that are excessively heavy in peanuts. If you ever eat a big container of mixed nuts you realize towards the end that you just have a big container with mostly peanuts in it and then your interest in finishing the container diminishes. So I bought this and will pour it into the mixed nuts as the peanut concentration gets out of wack. Perfect solution! Tastes good and has an acceptable amount of salt.

These roasted pecans are very tasty—fresh, crunchy, and perfectly salted. However, my bag had more broken pieces than whole halves, which was a bit disappointing. Still, they make a great snack, and the flavor is unbeatable. Definitely worth trying, but just be prepared for some pieces rather than full halves.

The finest pecans ever. Crisp, buttery and perfectly salted. They’re terrific in recipes or as a healthy snack. I order them again and again. 12/13/25 just ordered two more packs. I use the unsalted for baking, and the salted as a healthy keto snack.
