I used to have UTI's several times a year and that is way too often to be taking Rx sulfa based antibiotics. I do take cranberry capsules every day but for me that is not enough to totally prevent those recurring UTI's.After learning about uva ursi, I now take the capsules as directed several times a day for the first couple of days and then, as symptoms subside, I taper off. Most things written about uva ursi strongly suggest not take it for more than a week at one time. I combine this with DMannose powder, dissolved in water, 3 times a day. The combination works almost all the time. Last year I did have one bad UTI and had to go to the doctor for a prescription. I waited too long to take "my things" and since then have been more observant about those beginning symptoms.Hopefully it goes without saying that when you have these symptoms, drinking lots and lots of extra water is the key to getting rid of that harmful bacteria in your urinary tract system. (We also know that drinking lots of water every day helps prevent UTI's and many other health issues.)

Nature's Way is a great brand. This is another product we have on hand. Always a pantry staple.Highly recommend...
