Ukulele Primer Book for Beginners with DVD

Awful. I bought this book thinking that video access was part of the deal. Follow the link given to the internet website and it doesn’t exist. Video access? I don’t think so!

Basic ukulele tutorial with DVD but it don't cover alternative tunings.The chord diagrams in key C are ok but I shall be using my tenor in low D tuning.

Excellent book for beginners

Primer is good. CD is very special ,easy to learn basics.

I keep going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. I settled on 4 because the book is doing what I wanted. I am learning the ukulele. The DVD is actually a great addition to the book. It is very helpful, especially since I haven't heard of at least half the songs in the book. That's why I was debating the lower rating. The songs are super old and not engaging to anyone close to my age. I'm 37, just in case you were wondering. The songs are not the types of songs that inspire one to want to play. It becomes tedious to work through. I'm not expecting Lady Gaga, Beyonce, or Adele, but something from this century would be nice, or something with a hawaiian/tropical feel. I'd take Margarita Ville or a 50's song.
