Better Sleep 4-Tier Tension Pole, White

I'm comparing this to the previous item that I owned, which I paid about twice the price for. Assembly was pretty easy. If you've ever owned one of these things before, they all go together the same way. The baskets are pretty small. You can fit 3 16oz shampoo bottles on one. The baskets on my old one were larger. The whole thing is kind of flimsy, compared to my old one. Even though you can fit 3 16oz shampoo bottles on it, you'll find that the basket is hanging down if you do. Even one can of shaving cream kind of bends it down.The bottom line is I paid $20 for this item. I wasn't expecting to be all that impressed and that's what I got. Regardless of how much you pay for these things, they all rust in about a year (I've owned several over my lifetime, ranging in price from this one, up to over $100) and need to be replaced. I decided to save some money this time around and went with a cheaper one. Next year, I'll probably stop being so frugal and spend the extra $20 for a sturdier one. But it will do for now.

It's a good product, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the racks are held in place by plastic loops which slides. I noticed if there is enough weight placed on the racks the plastic loops holds the racks secure and snug.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!seriously, I catapulted this damn thing multiple times. It has a spring in it that I had to chase around the bathroom multiple times. Make sure toilet seat is down before installation into shower. My daughter has made great use of storing naked monster high dolls on this while still leaving all shampoo and conditioner sitting on edge of tub or lying in the tub emptying out. Effective 4 tier doll stripper stages, even comes with one long pole!Once installed- this thing is quite sturdy- It can hold a lot of crap!

This item looks great in the picture. However, assembling it took some doin, and it is not very retractable, the top part has a pole and a spring setup, but its not strong enough to work without adding a strap or anchor of some kind to hold the pole against the back corner of the bathroom wall. I will be going to home depot to get a 1/2 inch anchor and strap... but to those that are looking for a bathroom shelf I would avoid this particular one if I were you.the shelves are nice, but having to go out of my way to get a strap, and the overall disappointment of it not working like the picture suggests has me removed 3 stars, leaving this item with only 1 star.-- it did arrive on time so the seller is good, this item just isn't.

Not happy. Poll is not very stable. Followed their direction and it was off had to figure pole selection myself and in the process the thing kept popping apart and scratched the finish on the tub. My old one was better to bad it was rusted and needed to be replaced.

I bought this because I wanted a shower caddy that would not rust and would fit in my walk-in shower. My husband and I spent the morning trying to get this into the corner of our shower. Had a heck of a time scrunching down the spring enough to get it upright, and just when we almost had it in the corner.....BAM! the spring would slip off the pole and we would lose our tension. After several attempts we grabbed pliers and bent the rod enough so the spring would not "jump track". I have had this up for about 3 months and there is rust spots forming at the connections of the rods. Unit seems flimsy when large shampoo or soap bottles are on it, it leans a little away from wall, almost like it would benefit from some type of center area anchor. Otherwise it's functional, looks good, amount of shelves are good and the little washcloth bar is nice. Going to try and sand the rust spots and seal with clear spray to see if it doesn't add some longevity.

I ordered this before I read the reviews and got nervous after reading. I am not sure what everyone is saying but we put it together no problem and now its in my shower. No issues so far.

I have a shower that has no shelves or places to put things. This works great for sponges, body wash, soap, razors. I don't know what I did before I got it. It's a little tricky to snap the shelves together to be honest. But once you conquer that, it's easy to install. It only took about 15 minutes for putting together and installation. But READ THE DIRECTIONS. Once you get the shelves on, very difficult to remove if you mess up...trust me I know....lol
