Men's Sweatproof Undershirt - Cotton Deep V Neck - Original Fit - with Sweat Pads

This is on of the worst fitting t-shirts I've ever purchased. I usually wear a medium, and after seeing the picture and reading the reviews, I thought that it would be a little big so I ordered a small. The small is *extremely* large. After washing it, I thought it would shrink and fit better, but it did the opposite and stretched out more. I expected the padded area to be snug up against my underarms, but they sag by at least 2 inches, making it nearly useless as the sweat just drips down my sides and doesn't get absorbed by the padding. My wife generally doesn't say anything about my clothes and every time I have put on this t-shirt, she says, "I hate the way that looks on you". I had high hopes and I think the padding could work well, but with such a horrible fit, it's too hard to tell. I wanted the "slim fit" but they didn't offer it with the deeper V. I'll probably give it one more shot with the slim fit regular V and see how it goes.

Chronic sweat factory here, these shirts are my absolute favorite. I have them in 3 colors and wear them as much as humanly possible. Got a flight? this shirt. Going to the mall? this shirt. Driving long distance? this shirt. Meeting my bf's family? this shirt. No matter how hot and sweaty my pits get, they have not once soaked through.I'm usually a men's Large t-shirt, and the size Medium fits me a little baggy, whereas Small is snug and comfortable. The padding is thick and can take a little time to get used too, but after a while it feels like a regular t-shirt. The underarms get a little poofy after a few washes, but they flatten back down as you wear it.

Heavier fabric than the average tee shirt. Deeper vee than average, as stated in the ad. Fit is a little more snug than expected. Pads under arms are generously sized and should suck up a ton of moisture. Kept my dress shirt dry as a bone in a recent singing performance wearing a suit jacket for two hours on stage under lights. However, while it DOES suck up perspiration like a ShopVac, the idea of it leaving as vapor is a fantasy. When I took it off the shirt felt like a towel after a shower. But my clothing was dry so it retained the wetness anyway, and that is what is important when you are wearing fine fabrics. My only reservation is that if it shrinks it will be too small. Will update once it comes out of the wash!

This product works really well for blocking sweat rings under your arms. The only issues I have are that it is a little big for me (I am fairly skinny), and the sewn-in pads make it a little bulky. It isn't always extremely noticeable, but if you really look close you might notice the slight puffy effect of your undershirt, especially if you don't have your arms down by your side. Also, it can be awkward if someone goes in for a hug, because they may feel the padding under your arms. Further, I wish they would shorten the sleeves a bit. Currently, the sleeves hang out below my polo sleeves, so it is difficult to use with a short sleeve shirt. If you attempt to roll the sleeves to hide them, the padded part becomes extremely bunched up and noticeable. While that sounds like a lot of "complaints", it is still better than the wet rings under your arms. I would definitely recommend this product and will be buying a few more.

I sweat. A lot. I am a high school orchestra director, so my arms are in the air most of the time, and I'm self-conscious about the obvious sweat always lurking in my armpits. I typically wear layers or very dark shirts to mask the issue, and have a closet with light and colorful shirts that I rarely wear. Until now. This undershirt absorbs the sweat fantastically, and I can now wear my light-colored shirts and raise my arms with confidence.

These shirts legit have changed my life. I work in a corporate setting and for years I'd struggle with wearing any type of fitted shirt due to my excessive under arm sweat. I could be shivering to death in the dead of winter, and my under arms would still be sweating... Luckily you wouldn't know it now that I have these shirts!Totally worth the price for an undershirt when you consider how much you'll save not having to dry clean dress shirts after 1-2 wears.

Let me start off by saying this shirt fits true to size and doesn’t shrink much after being washed. Im a medium/large and purchased a large classic fit.I made the mistake of buying a large thinking it would shrink like most cotton shirts but it did not. I’m 6’2” with a 32” waist; I should have gone with a medium tailored/slim fit.This shirt works as advertised. I’m not one to have crazy pit rings from light to moderate activities but I work in a garage and with summer months approaching I would definitely have armpit sweat rings which is professionally unpleasant. One thing to keep in mind is that shirt WONT stop you from sweating so get that out of your head right now. In fact it’ll likely make you sweat a little more; it’s designed as an undershirt that’ll PREVENT your outer shirt from becoming soaked in sweat.I generally will have golf ball size sweat rings, if you’re a softball sweat ring individual you’re likely to give this shirt a hard workout and sweat may still be visible on your outer shirt especially if sweat from your underarm tends to drip down your arm/bodyI’ve worn this shirt 4 times thus far and after wearing it 6hrs each day moving and loading furniture my outer shirt was completely dry.One thing I did notice is that due to the extra material in the armpit area it appeared that I became hot sooner than I would have during my work day but that’s the cost of wearing an extra layer and I knew that would be the case when I made the decision to purchase this shirt so I went with the deep-v for a bit more breathability.Let me mention that I purchased the white shirt and haven’t seen any signs of discoloration in the armpit area I.e. yellowing. I also have washed the shirt each day (4 times) and unlike other reviews I have not seen any “wash quality” issues. After washing the shirt it definitely became less stiff and maybe even a little less heavy but no holes or fraying have occurred.I’m pleased with my purchase and will purchase a different color in the near future.

I ordered this due to the fact my job requires me to wear a very thin cotton blue short sleeved shirt, here's where the problem kicks in, sweat & more sweat, it takes next to nothing to make my underarms go into overdrive & before I know it, I look like someone has thrown a glass of water under each pit, it was highly embarrasing for me to say the least, I tried every type of under arm anti-perspirant nothing worked, I was forever in the washroom trying to dry my underarms, it got close to me packing in my job due to this, then I came across these marvellous T shirts, I ordered one in small, but when it arrived ( it was the correct item & size shown on lable Small ) I tried it on, it felt & looked like a large on me, I am only a small frame, so I always buy small T shirts (male), once I put on my shirt over the top ( under T shirt tucked in ) it was unseen, I have done lots of work shifts since without a single sign of underarm sweat breakthrough - a miracle for me ! sure I am still sweating but this t shirt is working wonders underneath by stopping it showing through on outer shirt due to the super padding in the underarm area, I have since ordered (today) another one in X SMALL so hopefully this will fit more snuggly, regardless of this, I am one happy customer knowing I can lift my arms without the dreaded stare of OMG, try them, you won't be let down, also to add, I dab a little of the Driclor roll on anti perspirant to boost the effectiveness of this setup, 100% success up to now.

First saw this advertised on YouTube by Alpha M YouTube channel, which I went through a phase of watching and typically halfway through his video he'll start to shill some product for a company he has a deal with. Thompson Tee has been a long time sponsor of his. I've always been dubious about it as a result but definitely became more curious recently. I sweat. Badly. If you're interested in this product, presumably you do too. Anytime I go out, I get massive sweat patches through my clothing (multiple layers!) and no matter the weather because I sweat so much and it really bothers me! I'd love to pretend I cared little about what people though but there's just an impression given of people who are sweaty like that which I don't want to be associated with. I'd be conscious about my arm movements and just be less open with my body language as a result, as well as it also limiting the sort of clothes I'd be wearing. Tried EVERYTHING to reduce my sweating issue. All sorts of different deodorants, putting it on before bed, using talc. All ultimately ineffectual.So, thought I'd finally hop onto this. Was told to size down from my 'L' so went for an M. Deep V neck so it would remain hidden. £26? I was a bit conscious that this was way too expensive for what it is. I'm proud to say it was worth every penny. I was out last night with this underneath a shirt and a jumper combo and walked a fair distance all evening, was in some incredibly hot bars, and by the end of the night - zilch. Not a single bead of sweat was visible on this light grey jumper and on the shirt? Nothing. I was hella sweaty underneath, of course, but NO PATCHES WERE VISIBLE AT ALL.Simply put, the Thompson Tee works. And in my opinion, if you're bothered enough like me to want to remedy the issue, then the price is absolutely worth it. As others, I find Medium a comfortable size so size down from your regular and I also recommend the Deep V-Neck to keep it concealed. It's an absolutely great purchase and I will definitely be buying more in the near future.Any downsides at all? I've only worn it a few times so jury is out on whether it holds up but I see no reason why it won't if you wash it and dry it properly (air dry). Also, it is another layer so in certain hot environments you'll feel that impact but this is just the case with any under layer.Big thumbs up for the Thompson Tee. (Y)

The fit is good and it does stop sweat coming through. The problem is, unlike my two other ones called SweatShield shirts (i think), the Thompson Tee starts to smell really badly after just a few hours of wearing even though I wash it after every wear. Some fabrics just seem to do that - and this is one of them. The other brand I mentioned don't and so will go with them in the future.This is coming from someone who doesn't even sweat that much compared to most people who might buy this kinda shirt.

This product will prolong the life of your shirts/polo shirts from sweat and skin grease stains. I have one for every day of the week. They are expensive but cost less than quality shirts/polo shirts so are worth the investment to save your over clothes. The ones I have are almost a year old. Just remember to wash them after every use!!!

I have had serious under arm sweating since I was a teenager, it’s made me very anxious in social gatherings, especially when wearing a suit. I bought this for my new job (shirt and tie) and this product has really boosted my confidence, I don’t think about my sweating as much, as a result I think I actually sweat less.Only bad thing is it is a warm layer, but if you don’t rush about, i find it tends to be okay.I’ve also bought sweatshield which is equally good, but for me I prefer the Thompson tee

Find this top really good. Was expecting it to be a little bigger as I purchased as women and I know mens size are usually a little more generous but not this time. It does fit, I just expected it to be a bit baggier. The armpits have substanial padding which was like heaven on earth to me. It's a good looking top, I'm happy with the quality of it+ hopefully it will do the job sweat wise.

If you are a size L go for M, if you are S go for XS. Tee is quite large. I had a wedding and wore this tee underneath. I was sweat free throughout and I was dancing (Bhangra) all day! So amazed with this product, highly recommend it.

Loved this t shirt its excellent light weight quick drying which really does its job very well yes its more expensive than the others of its kind but believe me when i say ive tried them all and they take an extremely long time to dry so i would highly recommend this one thankyou

Was sceptical as I've always struggled with sweat patches. Tried various types of undershirts and anti-perspirants and nothing ever worked. Became resigned to the fact that I would never be able to wear light coloured shirts for fear for giant sweat patches.But these are a god send. Don't get confused, they don't stop you sweating, but they do stop the embarrassing sweat patches showing up. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Will definitely be buying more!

I don't normally sweat that much, but do a lot of business presentations and nothing more embarrassing than sweat patches. This for me works a treat to be honest. I have a small although normally I would by medium TShirts and jumpers. You cant see under shirts - including white ones, and even protects shirts from those residue sweat marks that sometimes build up.

Very comfortable and soft. These really work well. Wish I'd known about them years ago. I'm 5'10 14st so XL is perfect for me.

I have held off for years because of the price but.. Highly recommended, you get what you pay for

I'm normally a large, and because I want to make sure this is a tight fit I chose medium.What I received was labelled medium but fits like an XL. There is no way I can wear a fitted shirt over this.Why doesn't amazon have the usual "fit guide" on this item so we can rate it as way too large?

The product is actually what I expected. I had the same product, but in black. The item does actually what it says and its actually what I need in my line of work. I would recommend this item to anyone looking at this.

I ordered a small but this thing is absolutely huge. I normally wear medium but wanted a tight fit because it goes under a shirt. tried to wash it to shrink it but to no avail.
