This EZVIZ camera has been a very good purchase. Although this model is not 2K, the image quality is more than sufficient for the space where I installed it. The image is clear and stable, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. In terms of performance, I have no complaints at all. The camera works perfectly and has been reliable so far. I also own other EZVIZ cameras that are 2K, and they are amazing, which reinforces my positive experience with the brand overall. I believe this camera offers a very good quality-to-price ratio, especially if you don’t specifically need 2K resolution and are looking for a dependable camera for everyday monitoring. The only thing I would like to see improved—and I’m not sure if this depends directly on the camera or the integration—is the compatibility with Alexa. I haven’t been able to pair it with my Alexa device, which would allow me to take better advantage of some of the smart features. That said, it’s a camera I do recommend. It delivers what it promises and works very well within its specifications.

I’ve been using this EZVIZ PTZ camera inside the house and honestly, it’s one of the best I’ve tried. The fact that I can control the camera remotely—move it around, tilt it up or down, rotate it—is super useful. If I hear a noise or just want to check in on things, I can open the app and look around the room without needing multiple cameras. One thing I really like is the privacy mode. When I turn it on, the camera literally moves the lens downward and hides it inside the body. You can actually see that it’s not watching, which gives a lot of peace of mind, especially for an indoor camera. Like the other EZVIZ products I have, you don’t need to pay for a subscription unless you want to. I just use a microSD card and it records everything locally. Super easy to set up, and the app is very intuitive. I can check the live view or recorded clips from anywhere, whether I’m home or on the go. I’ve used other indoor cameras before, but none had this combo of flexibility and privacy. EZVIZ really nailed it with this one.

Only negative I have with this camera is it does not follow people when they’re in its view. I wasn’t sure if I did or not but it does move if you’re on the app and you’re controlling it. But other than that it’s an amazing camera and worth the money.

This honestly is a great camera. I do recommend it. However, there are a few flaws that I want to share. First the pros: 1) small, lightweight, and well made 2) great video quality 3) can be bought as a single unit (so you don’t have to get a whole “system” if you don’t need to) 4) it has the ability to record to an SD card, and this model has one of the largest capacity SD card ability that I’ve seen. However it does also have a cloud storage feature (for a fee). 4) using the app you can pan and tilt the camera easily, view recordings, and set features. 5) The panning ability (from left to right) of this camera is amazing because of the round design of the device. It also can tilt up and down. 6) the app also allows you to set it if you want it to follow a person or to stay stationary. In other words, if you set it to notice people, it will follow/track a person’s movements in that room. Otherwise, you can just have it as a view of the room as a whole. 7) it records sound as well as video, and also has a feature that allows you to talk and be heard in the room where the camera is located. Cons: 1) The instruction paper that come with it is not overly detailed. I had to play around with it within the app to figure out some of the features. 2) The location of where to insert the SD card is obscure and a bit hard to find. The instructions don’t explain it well. 3) I am using the camera as a security camera, and as such, I wanted a full view of the room with out having to pan. I found that the only way to really achieve that is to mount the camera on the wall. I rent the space, so I did not want to drill into the wall. So, I used a Command Strip small shelf for it to sit on. This worked well, but the problem is that when it’s higher up, you need to tilt the camera downward. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an ability to tilt too far downward. (It’s panning ability for left to right is awesome, though). That meant that I had to put it only half-way up the wall, so it could “look down at the room”, which is not exactly a subtle place. I suppose you could hang it from the ceiling, but I have dropped ceilings, so that was not an option for me. These issues are not necessarily something everyone will experience, because it depends on your purpose for having the camera, the size and configuration of the room it’s in, etc. I just wanted to relate my experience. 4) If you’re using an SD card for video storage, be aware that it will overwrite over older video recordings when it reaches the end. There is no indication on the app of how much space is remaining on the card. Overall, it’s a great little camera, and I recommend it. I just feel that there are a few features that could be improved.

I normally love EZVIZ. I tried adding this, but it would not connect to my wifi, where all my other EZVIZ does. No matter what I tried. It would not connect. It was too late for me to return.

bu kamerayı daha popüler olmadan almıştım. keşke zamanında toptan şekilde alsaydım. bundan daha kaliteli bir kamera yok.. bir sürü kamera markası denedim en stabil en iyi bu marka ve bu modeli dış kamera olarak kullanıyorum 2 senedir .deliklerini bantla kapayın üstüne bir kap koyun yada duvar altına 2 sene dayandı...

Very satisfied with quality. Camera clarity is good. Sound mike is quite sensitive. With the mobile app, I am able to control all functions easily. Two way communication is also good.

Twee camera’s aangeschaft in aanvulling op camerabewakkngsysteem. Ik wilde binnen twee camera’s plaatsen en ze werken prima. Ik heb ze aangesloten op hikvision-app, bedraad, qr-code inscannen en ze zijn opgenomen in het netwerk. Ook simpel te voorzien bewegingsmelding. Prima en goedkoop.

Easy set up. Works with Amazon Echo, show, and even Facebook portal Gen 1. Does not work on firecube, but never claimed to, just would be nice if it did. Originally bought it for the basement playroom to keep an eye on my toddler, but when used it as baby monitor, that's where it stayed! Got another one for the basement. Great night vision. I found there was a 4 second delay on echo Show device, but only one second delay on phone app. Only minor problem is the motion activated tracking...it just isn't smooth and perfect. Not a deal breaker and if you properly position the camera, you don't really need the tracking feature. Definitely worth the money!!

Product itself is okay what is horrible is that company wants to charge you every month for every single product to keep videos in their own cloud storage - you can’t use any other. You can say it’s useless but if you want to keep it as safety camera then it’s the only solution.
